With a strong focus on finance and procurement teams, the platform provides transparency into where money is going, while also securing better rates for essential tools and services.

        Their website says they offer discounts and credits on AWS, GCP, and Azure, but we’ve found that the real big discounts are mostly focused on AWS. They offer much smaller discounts on GCP and Azure (for the actual amount, you’ll have to book a call with them to see what you can get). The value for non-AWS cloud savings comes more from their cost optimization strategies rather than actual discounts. The cloud optimization aspect focuses on AWS, using a combination of Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and usage analysis. Users don’t need to manually commit to these strategies, Spendbase handles it behind the scenes. For companies with consistent AWS usage, this can mean monthly savings of 10–30%.

        Where Spendbase really shines is in its broader scope: it goes beyond cloud and into SaaS management. This includes license tracking, identifying unused tools, and even renegotiating contracts with vendors, something that sets it apart from more narrowly focused competitors like Pump.

        Companies using AWS and a large portfolio of third-party SaaS tools (like Slack, Notion, Zendesk, etc.) will benefit the most from Spendbase’s bundled savings capabilities and vendor negotiation services.
